2- Conditional Sentences (type 0, 1, 2 and 3).
3- Tenses (Past Simple, Past progressive, Past Perfect, Present Simple, Present Continuous, Future Simple).
4- Use of punctuation (Capitalization, period, comma and full stop).
5- Writing format (informal letter, formal letter, biography, short story).
- The idea would be to work on a RAFT (Role, Audience, Format, Theme) activity where Sts can choose any combination they feel safe with to work on the writing production. I´ll check contents, format and accuracy through writing.
- I´ll also give them a bonus activity. The idea would be to provide a short text (short story) not including an end or introduction and ask them to provide it. They´ll have to produce a coherent and accurate missing part of the story.
Literature:
Short story analysis. The idea would be to work on a reading comprehension activity based on the short story to check on comprehension.
They´ll have to identify narrator, tone, setting in time and place, protagonist, antagonist. They´ll also have to scan the text for literary resources such as methapor, comparison, etc.
